This member is the original thread starter. Out of the Blue Playback Synch Errors

Yesterday my PC could play 1080p .mkv films without any problems, today the same films have synch errors? I don’t think I’ve changed any settings, the only codecs etc. I install are:

ffdshow_rev1125_20070428_clsid
MatroskaSplitter

These allow me to usually play all the files I need to within Windows Media Player without any problems. Anyone know where the films would suddenly not play in Synch? (Its driving me insane!). 720p films do not have any errors, the CPU is not (according to Windows) at 100% while playing 1080p so I’m confused!

I might have updated the Graphics driver (although as Nvidia are releasing drivers every other day I’m not sure! Could this be the problem?
