Just got My Dbox2 in Debug mode Has Linux Neutrino image .
Kinda sat here looking at it wonderin what to do,when i realised the German guy I bought it from on a fairly well known auction site had advised me to join this forum.
So here I am.
Today has been interestingly annoying but I expected that.
1st I had to go to electric type shop not to close to my home for a null modem cable ,some batteries 2 x aaa ,a star driver (just in case )

Once home again connected said Dbox2 to my PC via network cable and,null modem ! managed to setup my Dbox2 IP Address, Yahoo i can ping it.
And see folders via IE. and filezilla to it FTP.
But now i find myself wondering what to do next.
Do i connect it to my TV and Cable signal and see what / if anything happens ? or continue down the road of wondering why i cant connect via my null modem cable ! or even more frustrating why I cant find a English.Locale file to down load so i can stop guessing what some german words meanlease Any suggestions
