My wife received a letter the other day from a european lotto agency advising her she had won 16,000,000 euro's. she was asked to call a UK agent to claim the money...
With the letter was a badly copied form asking for bank details and the like.

I searched the net and found this scam in various guises but all related to a european lottery win.

PLEASE STEER CLEAR.. THIS IS A SCAM..

unfortunately, i threw the letter away and therefore cant provide specific names and details. if anyone else has experienced this, maybe they can provide names and details.
