This member is the original thread starter. Software Firewall recommendations
Hi folks, girlfriend is currently using Norton's for her AV and firewall requirements (she connects to net via USB modem, not a router) but her free 1 year subscription expires next week. AV is easy enough to sort out but I'm stuck for ideas for a (preferably free) software firewall. Have heard some horror stories about Zone Alarm so would prefer to avoid this if possible. Any suggestions gratefully received.
