Peugeot radio code?

is it ok to ask this here?

my father-in-law bought a peugeot expert van off ebay 2 weeks ago but didn't get the security code for the radio.

he contacted the seller but he didn't have it either and my father-in-law is trying to get it unlocked on the cheap (peugeot are asking £17 to do it even though he has the serial off the side of the unit).

does anyone have an app to generate the codes for blaupunkt radios?
