DIY Fishing Box / Seat Box

Is it plausible to make on of these out of ply rivited to a metal frame?

I've got the dust of my fishing gear and im gonna take some time out and relax and go fishing again. and was thinking of making a seat box rather than plastic box i currently have

cos i just carnt afford the £150+ they want for one of these boxes

So im asking if any of you lat have ideas/plans for making a seat/tackle box?
