This member is the original thread starter. plug smelling fishy

lol seriously my double plug in living room started to smell fishy last week when it's in use for more than 5 minutes. so i bought a new socket and put it on,but my old one was all burnt around the neutral wire hole,(guess thats where the fish quay smell come from)

just wondering could this be just that the plug was knackered and old or could it be something more serious?

cheers
