R U getting a 2mb bb service from VM? Not if U R still using the Telewest equipment. In Nov VM upgraded my Broadband service to 2Mb. Long story short. I wasn't getting 2MB only 1MB. The Telewest router I was using plugged straight into the Telewest box.
I know NOW that the box has a limit of 1MB. So if you are using telewest equipment give VM a call and ask them about it. If this is the case ask them to compensate you for not getting the service you've been paying for. I got a small refund but that's not the point.
I pointed out to them that they must have hundreds of ex Telewest customers who are not receiving the 2mb service they are paying for. The VM operators reply was "we don't know what equipment people are using it's up to them to call if they think it is a problem"
I also asked about not recieving any response to my e-mails although I had received an outo response to say they had received them she said " I don't know where the e-mails go you're supposed to call when you have a problem"
Why do they bother having an customer enquiry e-mail page on their website then?
