| Just heard the government is considering changing the laws regarding learner drivers, looks like soon you won't be able to teach your own kids to drive because the government say's too many young drivers are involved in fatal accidents within 2 years of passing their test ! Yep no more late evenings at the weekend on the local supermarket car park/school car park going round and round stop starting and getting your son/daughter used to the general feel of the car and how it works, i've done this with my two daughters and they both passed when they had 12-15 lessons with an instructor, plus, once i felt they were competent enough to be on the road they drove us around when the opportunity arose on L-plates. Well i just wonder how many lessons they would have needed if the only time thet got to drive was when they were with a (recognised instructor). Nahhh it's another load of bollocks and another attack on the british motorist to try and force us off the road, how many injuries and deaths are caused by foreign truck drivers ? And what's the government doing about it .... sweet 'FA'. We can all spout statistics from government lists to make our case seem important, here's one for ya ......... Every five hours one older person is killed by an accidental fall in the home and thousands are seriously injured every year Hey ! i don't see the government stopping OAP's from owning homes with stairs do you ? Or, in the interest of safety fitting Stennah stairlifts for free in their houses ! Check out this mongrel, Antonio Singh Boparan, he'd only passed his test 6 months before he stuffed his old mans £56,000 Range Rover into a jeep at 72mph and caused permanent brain damage to a one year old, she'll never walk again ! I'll bet his old man didn't give him lessons first, well he wouldn't would he he's worth £170 million ! Outside the court his brief read out a statement from the parents : "We would urge other parents of young drivers to learn that even a decent, hard working, respectful son like our own can easily make a mistake that has a devastating effect on all the families involved." Is that right Mr Boparan Snr ? Is it fuck !! You didn't learn much did you ? Two months later your son was caught doing 95 mph in a 50 mph limit on Birminghams expressway .... "Pahh" !! he should be bannned for 10 years, that might get the message across, but once again 'money talks' , it's a pity your money can't make little Cerys walk again all £170 million. |
