Windows XP File Copy Utility Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a file copying utility for Windows XP. Basically I regularly copy multiple large files from my PC to my media player via NDAS (which is quite slow). I want to be able to copy the files from the PC BUT into different directories on the media player.
With Windows XP that means kicking off different copy commands and they all then run in parallel which slows things down even more.
I'd like to run them one after the other, waiting for one copy to finish before the next starts, but I want to be able to set this all up, create some sort of queue and then leave it to run.
I could create an old dos style batch file to do it but the file names are different every time so I really want an interface that lets me say I want to copy files 1 and 2 to directory a, file 3 to directory b etc... and then click Start such that it then runs in serial rather than in parallel.
Is this possible? Is there a utility that supports this?
Thanks a lot! |
